Music Monday: Infidelity

February will be songs about relationships and this week is songs about infidelity. I haven’t experienced it and I hope none of you have either. However, it’s an ubiquitous plot device and relationship problem we see all the time.  Here are some tunes about this unfortunate betrayal.

You Ain’t Woman Enough to Take My Man by Loretta Lynn
Jolene by Dolly Parton OR Vicci Martinez
White Horse by Taylor Swift
Night to Remember by SHeDAISY
What Game Is This by Billie Piper
Unfaithful by Rihanna
Creep by TLC
Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood
Say My Name by Destiny’s Child
It’s Not Right by Whitney Houston
All I Have by The Veronicas
Part-Time Lover by Stevie Wonder
Heard It Through the Grapevine by Marvin Gaye OR Michael McDonald
Back Door Man by The Doors
Chloe in the Afternoon by St. Vincent
Who Are You? by Tom Waits
You Know I’m No Good by Amy Winehouse

And the one song everyone forgets about because they never really listen to the lyrics:

Escape (The Piña Colada Song) by Rupert Holmes
